Areola Restoration

A 3D areola tattoo uses pigments to replicate the areola on a reconstructed breast. It uses light and dark pigments to create a 3D illusion and make it appear that the person has an areola and nipple after they have been removed during surgery. The pigments are color-matched to each patient, and the goal is to restore the natural appearance of the breast.

how long after post mastectomy can i get my Areola's tattooed?

Plastic surgeons usually recommend waiting at least 4 months after breast reconstruction surgery to have nipple reconstruction or nipple tattoos. This will give your breasts time to heal and settle into a final position. It's also best to wait until you're fully satisfied with the rest of your reconstruction.
